I have the best post workout smoothie for you all! Its packed with protein, carbohydrates and potassium, making it perfect for active people! This is my all time favourite smoothie combination which i almost always whip up after any workout! It leaves me replenished and helps restore the electrolyte balance in my body after a strenuous workout!
What you will need:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of milk ( i used almond milk, but you can use any milk of choice)
- 1/3 cup natural yogurt (greek yogurt is preferred as it is packed with protein- i use fake 0% fat greek yogurt)
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
Blend it and drink it! don't forget to sprinkle a little cinnamon on top for that extra boost for your metabolism! yummy! let me know if you like it?
